Adviser: Professor Huang Ximin, a famous scientist in the filed of electron image in China, now acts as technical adviser of LDI, who can promote the product research and development. III. Products and Service : The STN-LCD project is, in accordance with domestic and international market demands of mobile phone, PDA, car and network telephone and so on intellectual terminals, established by CIOMP Science and Technology Corporation, CETDZ Development & Construction (Group) Co., Ltd., Korea Semicon Engineering Co., Ltd. and Dalian Daxian Co., Ltd. We build a production line for high definition STN-LCD with basic plate 0.3mm in thickness and 10 micra LTL precision. Objective products are STN-LCD screen, solid color STN module with high definition and color STN module with high definition. By far, we have invested USD48,000,000, completed 21,000m 2 workshops and office building, installed and tested the Japan STN-LCD manufacturing equipments, set up marketing offices in Los Angeles, Seoul, Beijing and Shanghai, and obtained lots of orders; it started formal production in July 2002 and got sales income USD10,000,000 at the same year. Production Scale and Market : Production scale: solid/color STN-LCD 100,000m 2 /year, solid/color module 21,000,000 pieces per year, Construction Site: Optoelectronic Park, Changchun Economic and Technical Development Zone, Floor area: 350,000m 2 , Building area: 210,000m 2 . Market analysis: the target market are intellectual communication terminals such as mobile phone, PDA, car TV, it is surveyed that the STN demands in domestic mobile phone market is USD360,000,000 in 2003, especially the color STN screen would be the prevailing products in mobile phone field.
